Ad-Aware 2009 is a free anti-spyware program which is highly thought of by lots of people. It provides us with advanced protection against spyware that secretly attaches and takes control of our computer. But when searching the internet, we will find others complain that it will slow down the computer and difficult to be uninstalled when it is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs applet or there is something corrupted with its built-in uninstaller. But with Perfect Uninstaller, no matter it is located in the Control Panel or not, you  can relaxingly get rid of it from your computer.

 

 

 

With Perfect Uninstaller, we can completely uninstall this program with two methods: Uninstall and Force Uninstall

 

Method One: Uninstall it with “Uninstall” function

 1) Run Perfect Uninstaller.

 2) Highlight Ad-Aware 2009 on its main interface.

 3) Then click “Uninstall” button and then “Next” to begin the removal as you can see in the screenshot.

 

 

 

 

 4) Click “Uninstall” when the following window appears.

 

 

 5) Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the removal.

 

Method two: Uninstall it with “Force Uninstall” function

 

If the program you want to uninstall is not in the “Display Name” list after you run Perfect Uninstaller or it still functions well after “Uninstall”, please go to use “Force Uninstall” which is the most powerful way to uninstall software.

 

1) Find the folder directly in the hard drive where you locate Ad-Aware 2009.

 2) Click its directory and then select “Force Uninstall” to begin the removal. (Note: If you cannot start from the right-click menu, please firstly launch Perfect Uninstaller from Start->All programs->Perfect Uninstaller->Perfect Uninstaller, then go to Options from its main panel. In the General Settings, tick up Right-click to Force Uninstall. If your system is Windows Vista or Win7, also check Disable User Account in Change Vista Account Control.)

 

 

 

 

3) Then follow the on-screen steps to finish the uninstallation processes.

 

After the uninstallation steps above, Ad-Aware 2009 will be completely removed from your computer. And the method above is available in uninstalling any version of Ad-Aware programs.
